Jagga was spreading terror network by becoming a hawker in Lucknow, Punjab went on transit remand

Lucknow
The Punjab Special Police and UP Police arrested Khalistani terrorist Jagdev Singh alias Jagga from Janakipuram in Lucknow. According to the information, after hours of questioning, Jagga told that he was planning to spread his terror network across the state by staying in Lucknow. Jagga used to roam in Lucknow as a hawker and a hawker so that he could not be recognized.

Many leaders and religious places of the state were also on the target of Jagga. The accused Jagga has been taken to Punjab after being taken on transit remand from the Punjab Police Court. After the arrest of Jagroop Singh from Amritsar, the Punjab Police was informed that Jagga had fled to Lucknow. On the basis of this information, Jagga could be arrested with the help of Lucknow Police.

Jagga’s terror funding was being done from abroad

Jagga was getting terror funding from abroad. Canada, America and Britain were also receiving money in the name of Terror Funding. Jagga wanted to spread the entire network in western Uttar Pradesh including Kanpur, Varanasi, sitting in Lucknow.

Teams activated on input received in the inquiry

DCP North Rais Akhtar said that Jagga’s network connected with the peasant movement is being investigated. Apart from this, all of us are constantly in touch with the Punjab Police. The same people are questioning the terrorist Jagga. Apart from this, we are investigating based on the inputs received in the interrogation in Lucknow. The Punjab Police has left for Punjab after taking the accused on transit remand.

Jagga has been sentenced in jails of Amritsar and Gurdaspur

On Sunday, the Crime Branch team of Lucknow and Punjab Police arrested Khalistani terrorist from Secretariat intersection Sector C Jankipuram during joint operation. Jagdev Singh alias Jagga, a partner of Paramjit Singh Pamma and Maltani Singh, involved in anti-national activities was arrested. Jagdev Singh alias Jagga has served sentences from 23 March to 19 October 2019 and from 26 October to 26 November 2020 in Amritsar jail and Gurdaspur jail.
