Yamaha increases service and warranty limits amid Corona’s second wave

Looking at the second wave of the Kovid-19, India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has extended its service and warranty limits. As part of its Yamaha Lifetime Quality Care strategy, the company has extended the service and warranty deadline to June 30, 2021. Among the services extended by the company,
  • Free service: Services ending during lockdown were extended until June 30, 2021.
  • General Warranty: The general warranty expiring during lockdown was extended until June 30, 2021.
  • Extended Warranty: The extended warranty expiring during lockdown was extended until June 30, 2021.
  • Annual Maintenance Contract: The contract ending during lockdown was extended until June 30, 2021.

All the dealerships of Yamaha have also been instructed to ensure that all these benefits are easily accessible to the customers.

Yamaha production closed for 16 days

Earlier, India Yamaha Motor (IYM) announced the temporary closure of its production units at Kanchipuram (Tamil Nadu) and Surajpur (Uttar Pradesh) in view of the current condition of Corona across the country. Production of vehicles in these units will be closed from 15 May 2021 to 31 May 2021.

The company said in an official statement, “Yamaha Motor India has taken this step to support the government in its fight against the Kovid-19. So that can break the Corona chain. Currently, the health of its employees And safety is a top priority for the company. Yamaha will continue to work with its dealers and suppliers to minimize the impact of this interruption. Employees working in corporate offices and area offices will be able to work from home. “
