Tata Motors has launched its iconic SUV Safari in 6 variants. These include XE, XM, XT, XT +, XZ and XZ +.

The company has launched it in both 6-seater and 7-seater configuration models. It is important to note here that all variants are available in the 7 seater configuration. But the 6-seater configuration will be available only in the XZ + and XZA + variants.

Talking about its power performance, it has a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine with BS6 component for power. Its engine generates 168 PS maximum power at 3,750 rpm and peak torque of 350 Nm at 1,750-2,500 rpm. Let us know that this engine is also found in Tata’s Harrier SUV. There has been no change in the transmission of the new Safari. The engine of this SUV is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.
