Natasha Poonawalla, executive director of Serum Institute of India (SII), has also got the Kovid vaccine. He gave this information on Instagram. Poonawala wrote that “I am proud to be taking the vaccine. After the completion of the trials at the local and international level, coviculated vaccines were considered safe and effective.” Natasha is the wife of SII CEO Adar Poonawala. Natasha thanked the World Health Organization (WHO) to the Gates Foundation, saying that it was due to her that the COVAX program was delivered to the Serum Institute Vaccine Deliver. SII has created a vaccine called ‘Covishield’ which was developed by Oxford University and the British medical firm AstraZeneca.

Adar Poonawala got vaccinated in January
On January 16, Adi Poonawala, CEO of SII, got his company made Covishield. He shared the video of the vaccine on his Twitter handle. Poonawala said that “I am delighted and proud that I have been a part of it. I hope that the Corona vaccination will be a complete success in the country.”

SII to launch another vaccine by June
SII has announced the launch of its new vaccine, Kovovax, by June. Poonawala said in January that our partnership with Novavax for the Covid-19vaccine gave excellent results. The new vaccine will be launched under the brand name of Kovovax, which SII is making in partnership with Novavax. It has been found to be 89 percent effective against new strains of the virus, based on preliminary findings of an ongoing research in the UK.

The second phase of corona vaccination has started
Vaccination has started for people above 60 years of age in the country. People who are more than 45 years of age, as well as those suffering from other diseases, have also been vaccinated. A maximum limit of Rs 250 has been fixed for vaccination of corona in private hospitals. In this way, you will have to pay 500 rupees for two doses of Corona vaccine. Vaccination will be free in government hospitals.
