In the 02590 Secunderabad-Gorakhpur special train coming to Lucknow late Saturday, Govind hailing from Gorakhpur was traveling with his brother-in-law Vasant. According to the information, there was a reservation of Govind in the train’s bogey number D-3, but his brother-in-law was also traveling with him without a ticket. TTE Jai Narayan Yadav, who was in the bogie, was checking tickets with him as soon as the train reached Badshahnagar. Govind’s brother-in-law demanded a penalty for not having a ticket, but both men clashed with the TTE on the fine.
TTE pushes youth out of train after dispute escalates, police arrests
Passengers present in the bogie say that as the dispute between the TTE and the youth in the train escalated, the TTE pushed the young man down from the door of the train, causing the young man to fall down. Passengers who were angry about the case reported in the police control room, beating the TTE fiercely. The GRP police, who reached the spot, arrested the accused TTE from the spot. According to the GRP police, the accused TTE said during interrogation that the train was in slow motion, at that time it was asked to come down. In a hurry, his leg slipped and he fell into the grip of the train. However, the GRP police have registered a case under section 304 against the accused TTE and arrested him.
