After the famous Aliganj Hanuman temple in Lucknow, now the ancient Mankameshwar temple located in Daliganj has been threatened with a bomb. In a letter sent by registered post on Saturday, it has been said to release the arrested terrorists by the evening of August 14. Their target is the RSS office, senior RSS functionaries. After receiving the letter, Mahant Devya Giri complained to the top police officers, after which a heavy police force has been deployed keeping in mind the security arrangements in the temple.
Do not be afraid of threats, definitely come to worship – Mahant
Mahant Devya Giri said that this threatening letter was received on Saturday. The letter may or may not be true, but there is much to be feared. The month of Sawan is going on so there is some problem. The people coming to visit are not afraid at all, who repeatedly carry out such incidents. I have a piece of advice for them. He said that if the places of worship are not left, then you people will not be able to survive. From the point of view of security, the police administration should make good arrangements.
Five suspected terrorists were arrested
On July 11, the ATS first arrested two suspected terrorists Minhaj Ahmed and Maseeruddin alias Musheer from Lucknow. Modern arms and explosive material were recovered from their possession. A ready-made cooker bomb from one’s house and a semi-finished cooker bomb from the other’s house was found. When the ATS interrogated both of them on custody remand, they got information about their other associates.
On the basis of this, Mohammed Mustakim, Mohammad Mueed and Shakeel were also arrested from Lucknow later. The ATS has interrogated all the five accused by taking them on remand. At present, all the five accused are in jail.
