New states of Covid-19are increasing daily in six states including Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab and Gujarat. The Health Ministry on Sunday said that out of 18,711 new cases, 84.71 per cent of the cases are from these states. Maharashtra has reported the highest number of 10,187 new cases. This is followed by 2791 cases in Kerala and 1159 new cases in Punjab.
Central government is monitoring
The ministry said that the central government is constantly in touch with those states and union territories where the number of patients undergoing corona virus is high and where new cases of Covid-19are increasing. It has deployed high-level teams in Maharashtra and Punjab where new cases are increasing rapidly. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are among the other states where daily cases of Covid-19are increasing.
100 people died in the last 24 hours
The ministry said that eight states are seeing an increase in new cases every day. In India, the number of patients admitted to Covid-19is 1.84 lakh, which is 1.65% of the total infection. According to statistics, 100 people have died in the last 24 hours. 87 percent of the new dead are from six states. Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths at 47, while Kerala has the highest number of deaths at 16. 12 people died in Punjab. In the last two weeks, there have been no deaths from Covid-19in ten states, while one to 10 deaths have occurred in 12 states.
