South Delhi DCP Atul Thakur told that the name of the arrested accused is Adarsh Sahu. Adarsh, 22, lives in Sangam Vihar. He used to work as a salesman in this showroom for the last two years. During police interrogation, it was told that he also had a set key of the showroom. During the lockdown, it had stolen by opening the showroom two-three times. On Monday also it had stolen from the showroom. Also, this time for fear of being caught, he had also taken the DVR of CCTV cameras. Police have recovered 206 mobile phones, 2 laptops and Rs 1 lakh 4 thousand from it. It was caught by the team of ACP Hauz Khas Lakshya Pandey and SHO of Malviya Nagar police station, Satish Rana.
Three masked men took away goods worth 18 lakhs from the mobile store
The miscreants broke into a mobile store in Ghonda. Masked miscreants carried out the crime in the early hours. They flew away with 98 mobiles and 36 accessories from branded companies. The manager of the store claims that a total of Rs 18 lakh has been stolen. The Jafrabad police station has registered a case of theft. The footage of the surrounding CCTV cameras has been scanned. Rohit Tyagi (32) lives in Mandola village of Loni in Ghaziabad district. He is the manager of a store adjacent to Punjab National Bank on Brahmpuri Road in Ghonda. He went home after closing the store at 7 pm on 5th June. The next day at around 4 am, the night patrolling employee called and told that the store had been stolen. When he immediately reached the shop, he found that the shutter was uprooted and the door glass was broken. When he looked inside, he saw a lot of stuff was stolen.
The police was informed about the incident by calling. On checking, it was found that 98 mobiles of several branded companies were missing, while 36 accessories were also found missing. They include batteries, earphones, chargers and memory cards. His total value was said to be 18 lakhs. The miscreants also took DVRs of CCTV cameras with them. When the police checked the surrounding CCTV cameras, three masked men were seen entering the store at 3:30 am.
